Keyboard throughout
Skip-link to top anchor, visible keyboard-only focus with dark-bg variant, Escape closes menu and dialog.
Labelled semantics
Booking dialog with trap and status announcements, FAQ accordion with button and region wiring, decorative art hidden.
Motion respects you
Global reduced-motion kill-switch plus JS degradation for count-ups and reveals; marquee pauses on hover and focus.
Feedback with fallbacks
Report barriers to hello@brancle.com; scheduler and contact both offer direct-link and email alternatives.

Commitment and standard
BRANCLE TECHNOLOGIES LLC (“Brancle,” “we,” “us”), 212 N. 2nd St. STE 100, Richmond, KY 40475, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA on https://brancle.com.
We assess this site as partially conformant: the features in Section 2 are implemented and manually keyboard-tested, while the limits in Sections 3–4 apply. We do not claim full conformance or third-party certification at this time.

What works today
| Area | Implementation |
|---|---|
| Language & rendering | html lang=en; self-hosted Inter, Fraunces, and JetBrains Mono with display=swap (no flash of invisible text) |
| Keyboard & focus | Skip-link to the top anchor (visible on focus, high z-index); 2px green :focus-visible ring with 3px offset plus bright variant on dark and footer; mouse-only focus ring suppressed |
| Navigation disclosure | Mobile menu button with aria-expanded, aria-controls, and Open/Close labels; Escape closes; scroll locked while open; links close the menu on activation |
| Booking dialog | role=dialog with aria-modal and labelled name, labelled close control, focus trapped and restored, Escape and backdrop close, loading status with aria-live plus error fallback to the direct booking page |
| FAQ accordion | Heading-wrapped buttons with aria-expanded and aria-controls paired to regions with aria-labelledby |
| Motion | CSS kill-switch disabling animation and transitions under prefers-reduced-motion with smooth scroll reverted to auto; count-ups jump to final values and reveals drop transforms in JS |
| Marquee strip | Brand marks exposed as labelled images; animation pauses on hover and on focus within |
| Text contrast | Primary text tokens hardened: muted at 5.21:1 and deep green at 5.57:1 on paper (up from failing values); high-contrast text selection |
| Contact paths | No native form fields to label; contact runs through native links and buttons plus the scheduler with status and direct-link or email fallback |

Third-party limits
Scheduling depends on Cal.com: the embed script and iframe render availability under Cal.com’s own markup, and booking-page visits fall under Cal.com’s notices. If the scheduler is unusable with your technology, use the “Open in new tab” booking link or email hello@brancle.com directly — both achieve the same audit booking without the embed.
Outbound platforms
Upwork and LinkedIn links leave https://brancle.com for independent platforms with their own accessibility characteristics. Mailto links open your own mail client.
Nº 04
Known limits and roadmap
| Limit | Status |
|---|---|
| Skip target lands on the top anchor, not a main-content landmark | Documented here; landmark retarget queued with the next structural pass |
| Mobile nav is a disclosure, not a modal dialog (no trap or focus return) | Claimed only as disclosure; dialog-pattern upgrade queued if nav complexity grows |
| Marquee second half duplicates announcements; no dedicated pause control | Duplicate half hidden from assistive tech; dedicated pause control queued |
| Decorative greens and translucent-on-dark pairs untested for text use | greens restricted to decorative and large-scale use; full opacity-token audit queued |
Reduced motion is mitigated rather than zeroed: staggered entrances still stagger while the CSS guard collapses their animation, which is why we claim “reduced” rather than “no motion.”

What we don't do
- No CAPTCHAs, no session time limits, and no content that flashes more than three times per second.
- No audio-only or video-only content requiring captions or transcripts on this site today.
- No raster informative images requiring extended descriptions — illustrations are decorative line-art and hidden; data lives in adjacent text.

Feedback — report a barrier
If you encounter an access barrier, email hello@brancle.com with subject “Accessibility feedback” and include the page URL, the barrier faced, and your browser and assistive technology. We acknowledge within 5 business days and resolve proportionate to impact — workarounds first (such as direct booking or email scheduling), structural fixes in the next release train.
Nº 07
Compatibility
This site is designed for modern evergreen browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) with current operating-system screen readers. Older browsers, including Internet Explorer, are not supported targets.
Nº 08
Assessment basis
Basis: self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria plus a manual keyboard pass (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape) over header navigation, booking open and close, FAQ expand and collapse, footer links, and back-to-top, completed September 2026. No third-party accessibility audit has been commissioned yet; this statement will be updated if one is.
